Hi, I’m Hannah!
It is my heart as your doula to provide you with support in as many areas as I can through pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
I come from a family where we discussed birth regularly at the dinner table. My mother, an OB/GYN nurse, instilled in me a deep desire to serve mothers and babies in a variety of economic standings, races and other differences. It wasn’t until midway through my degree in Psychology and Human Services that I realized that being a doula was everything I was passionate about in one career. Birth, empowering women, advocating, holistic health and wellness, partner and family support and unity, nurturing the heart of women, and encouragement...just to name a few.
As a DONA certified Doula, Lamaze Childbirth Educator and a Lactation Counselor, my goal is to provide you with evidence and support that in turn causes you to trust your intuition and birth in a manner that is fit entirely for you–whether that is an unmedicated home birth or a scheduled cesarean birth. Birth is birth, and it is truly remarkable.
I am a bit of an extrovert and gain so much energy being around others and in the community. To recharge, I take solace in cooking and singing in the kitchen ALONE, haha. My husband and I have been married for 5 years and have a deep love for the outdoors and our pup Oakley. I love Jesus and believe the church is all around us. If you think that you and I could be a good fit, please reach out!
